Left off at Old Faithful, waiting for the big show...

OK…1:50…1:55…2:00…It’s a bit late, huh? Well, someone said the last eruption was about 1:20 but it was due around 12:50. OK. So maybe we’ll wait a while.
2:05…2:10…more waiting…2:20…A bit disappointing…the smaller ones in the distance are going off now, maybe that’s a sign…??

OK…wait a bit more…then…
Two Fifty PM, almost an hour after they said it would go off….It erupted.

But…that was it?? What happened to the 300 foot geyser?? That did not happen. It hasn’t been that high in a long time, so we were told by a visitor who saw it last year. No more giant sprays…
Quite anti-climactic, if you ask me!!
OK. Move on. Into the vehicles and on to the Tetons, which are just south of Yellowstone. What impressive peaks these are…
Crossed the Continental Divide while going through the park,
