Around Kluane Lake
This is Kluane Lake, in Kluane National park, Yukon Territory. Kluane is the largest lake in the Yukon. Its color, like most lakes up here, comes from light reflecting off the glacial sediment suspended in the water. Some of the lakes are so brilliantly turquoise, others are bright aqua and sea green. Many are hundreds of feet deep.
